The aim of this development was to regenerate a derelict former timberyard site wedged into the historical area of this seaside settlement. The proposed 3 bedroom dwellings respect the heritage buildings' style in the surrounding residential area, with carefully chosen traditional details and material usage such as black and white weatherborading, pastel coloured rendered and red brick elevations and chimneys, gray slate and red pantile roofs, porches and brick or rendered soldier courses, brick- and white wooden feces. The 3 floor design also secures the living areas of the houses aginst the possible flood risk in the area.
